House of José Herrera

It is located on the west side of Central Park, today the Ekono store. It corresponds to the same place where he lived for long years and Don Joaquín Lizano died there in 1901. In the following year, he acquired it by purchase from the heirs Don José Manuel Herrera (1857-1937), a rich coffee grower, farmer and exporter. that he even became the owner of the well-known Hacienda de La Lindora in Santa Ana. The construction was all made of adobe. It was for this reason that in early 1924 he proceeded to & nbsp; demolish the old facade and built the one that existed for many years.
