House of Alberto Chaverri
After the earthquakes of 1888, some quite ostentatious residential buildings were erected in Heredia. This was one of them, ordered to be built by a city commissioner and rancher, who was also a deputy for the Province, Alberto Chaverri ALfaro (1855-1942). The house we are discussing was demolished a few years ago and was located on 4th avenue, 2nd street, that is, in the southwest corner of the immediate block south of Central Park.
